Hello, Oi! My name is Carolina Folegatti. Originally, I am from Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, but currently, I live in the Midwest region of United States. I have been fascinated with both art and design since childhood, and I began studying web design more than twenty years ago. Now, I am skilled in all these areas, and have developed expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, CorelDraw, and HTML. I began freelancing in 2009, and have since created a plethora of multimedia, including business cards, flyers, logos, and webpages. I now work as a full-time graphic designer and video editor. Art is not only my childhood hobby, it is my intrinsic talent. My sole agenda now is to consistently advance my skills as a graphic designer and learn new concepts, techniques, and applications along the way. I am now more in love with the field of graphic, motion and UX/UI Design than ever before!
I have a natural ability to understand and connect with people's emotions and perspectives. I genuinely care about the user experience and the feelings that multimedia evokes in my clients. It is not just about putting myself in someone else's shoes. It is about identifying and understanding how a person is feeling and having positive interactions with my designs.
I embrace challenges with enthusiasm because I see them as opportunities to innovate and make a real impact. Graphic, motion, and UI/UX design keep me excited, engaged, and continually learning, and allows me to create original and high quality solutions for my clients.
I pride myself on being fully present when working with clients and concentrating on each project with great detail. Giving my undivided attention to a singular project allows me to grasp the fine details, analyze artistic possibilities, and generate stimulating solutions.
Whether I am working on a challenging project or simply enjoying everyday life, good humor keeps me grounded and ready to take on whatever design idea that comes my way.
I love to explore new places, learn about different cultures, and meet fascinating people along the way.
Books open the world up to me! The more I read, the more I grow. Reading fuels my imagination.
Dancing keeps me active and energized. It brings joy to my life. My favorite dance genres are rumba, swing, and tango.
I appreciate moments of relaxation and entertainment. Both spark my creativity and broaden my perspectives.
Assembling puzzles builds my problem-solving skills and exercises my patience. As one of my favorite and most challenging past-times, it is a good way to relax, recharge, and engage my mind.
I love handcrafting because it allows me to express my imagination, bring my ideas to life, and exercise the hands on processes that are critical to design.
